About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire a Transporter who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Transporter, you will: Transports patient to and from locations in the hospital. Performs other duties such as organizing and distributing schedules, maintaining transportation supplies, assisting on the nursing units when available

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to prioritize and report observed changes in patient condition or behavior to RN
• The ability to listen and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Skills in talking to others to effectively convey information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in clinical care setting preferred
