What You’ll Do: Escort patients throughout the hospital with courtesy and care Respond promptly and politely to patient needs and questions Build meaningful connections with patients and families Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure patient safety Transport medical records, lab specimens, equipment, and more Change O2 tanks and apply O2 regulators as needed Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high. Requirements
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to follow simple directions
- Basic clerical skills for logging patient names and destinations
- Planning skills to efficiently route patient transports
- This position requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund
- All employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP
Nice To Haves
