About The Position

The Transporter role at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital involves the safe and efficient transportation of patients within the hospital. Requirements

• High School Graduate / GED
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Previous CNA or Transporter experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from clinical, ancillary and support areas as requested.
• Assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Greet and offer assistance to customers throughout the hospital.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
• Orient and mentor new staff members.
