About The Position

The Transporter position at Inspira Health is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients throughout the hospital under the direction of registered nurses. This role also involves providing necessary supplies and equipment for patient care, as well as participating in the monitoring of equipment safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Completed EMT course preferred, or previous successful experience verified by reference check.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Ability to exercise initiative within scope of practice and benefit from constructive criticism.
• Knowledgeable about role and responds to Emergency Codes.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients throughout the hospital under the direction of registered nurses.
