Transporter - Radiology (PD, Days) Monterey Park Hospital
About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Transporter for our Radiology Department . This is a per diem, 8-hour day shift position reporting to the Director/Supervisor of Radiology. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Imaging Director and Supervisor, the transporter will transport patients to any of the patient care units from various hospital areas and will accompany the nursing staff during transport of patients to various hospital areas and provide assistance to the ICU unit with safely moving patients when needed. The transporter will be responsible for transporting and cleaning dirty equipment from the nursing units to radiology, as well as for the maintenance of the Hepa Filters hospital-wide.
Requirements
- Minimum one-year's acute care hospital experience preferred.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association required.
