Requirements

Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
Starting April 2014, all new hires will require a High School diploma or Equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
Darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties.
Performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
Filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.
Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
