We are seeking a Transporter PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Transports patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the entire hospital using carts, wheelchairs, and beds. Generally assists technologists/nurses in moving patients to exam tables and ensures communication forms are filled out completely by all staff. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Performs a variety of clerical activities. Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Prefer some hospital or clinical experience.
• Prior patient care experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients of all age ranges, supplies, and equipment throughout the entire hospital using carts, wheelchairs, and beds.
• Assists technologists/nurses in moving patients to exam tables.
• Ensures communication forms are filled out completely by all staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs a variety of clerical activities.
• Maintains cleanliness of transport equipment.
