About The Position

This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all transport procedures. Employee is expected to communicate and work independently in performing all patient transportation procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care and customer service to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of Lawnwood Regional Medical Center. Maintains and supports facility technical and procedural documentation expectations consistent with external and internal regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma/GED or Graduate from accredited Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform all patient transportation procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
• Prioritize, provide, and promote quality patient care and customer service.
• Maintain and support facility technical and procedural documentation expectations.
• Communicate and work independently in transport procedures.
• Reflect concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.
