About The Position
As a Transporter PRN with HCA Florida West Hospital, you will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and modes of transportation. This role is crucial in ensuring that patient care is prioritized and that patients are treated with respect and dignity throughout their time in the hospital. You will assist clinical personnel in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers, and you will also be responsible for collecting and delivering specimens, orders, requisitions, and equipment to appropriate destinations.
