Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is required.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and supplies as needed to and from the Radiology Department in a safe and effective manner.
• Assist the technologists with patient transfers to and from imaging tables.
• Properly handle IV pumps and poles, oxygen tanks and the patient chart during transport.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable atmosphere for the patient during transport.
• Perform messenger service as needed.
