About The Position

The Auxiliary/Transportation position is available for the 2024-2025 school year, with a focus on evening shifts. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas commercial driver's license (Class A or B) with P & S Endorsements or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Basic knowledge of diesel and gasoline vehicles.
• Ability to operate equipment and tools involved in vehicle repairs.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a similar transportation role.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain transportation vehicles.
• Assist students when necessary, including lifting them if required.
• Complete all required training and attend safety meetings.
• Maintain effective pupil behavior management over groups of children.
