About The Position

Ranger offers a wide range of additional wellsite support services including, fluid transfer, fishing and rental services, hot oiling, frac tank rental and wellsite construction. Ranger is managed by seasoned industry veterans and services blue-chip customers in the Permian Basin with a substantial asset base, strong safety culture and industry-leading operating procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Transportation Truck Driver will have multiple job tasks that include loading and unloading production water from batteries to SWDS, take brine and /or non potable to drilling/suppletion sites, etc. and mentor/train less experienced drivers as needed.

Requirements

  • Preferred 6 months – 1 year of job related and driving experience
  • Able to read and write in English and communicate with customers and supervisors
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends
  • Physical demands include, but not limited to prolonged sitting, lifting tools & hoses, climb ladders and stairs
  • Valid Class A CDL license with required endorsements
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. required by law
  • Able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on routine basis
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
  • Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
  • Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use of appropriate PPE

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily DOT inspections on company vehicles
  • Communicate with Dispatch and Leads on job assignments
  • Follow driving directions and able to read paper and digital maps
  • Provide feedback on any field, vehicle, job, and customer needs to supervisors
  • Perform minor repairs and small installations on company vehicle and equipment
  • Able to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Perform all tasks safely by following established DOT, safety and environmental policies
  • Demonstrate low-risk driving behaviors while conducting operations in company vehicles
