Transportation Technician 1 - PN20051931 - Capital Programs What you will do: Primarily scope culvert and drainage projects. Scope other projects such as lighting, pruning, guardrail, and geotechnical. Conduct project field reviews as part of the scoping process. Create preliminary cost estimates and project schedules during scoping. Run scope meetings and coordinate scope sign-off and delivery. Review ADA curb ramp replacement needs and estimates for project scoping. Oversee annual tree cutting contract. Program projects and adjust funding and project schedules in Ellis (ODOT’s project management software). This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards. All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one (1) year probationary period. Position will be filled pursuant to the provision of the OCSEA/AFSCME Contract. The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicant's prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
