As a member of the Patient Support team, this role transports and assists patients, supplies, specimens, equipment and other items as required, to various departments and areas of the hospital. Additional duties include receiving, sorting and assembling Linen exchange carts, distribution of linen, as well as the assembly, disassembly, cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of equipment. The incumbent of this role must be willing and able to stand for long periods of time, walk at least 10 miles per shift and able to push/pull over 74 pounds.
