About The Position

West Park Care Center , an Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center, is looking for an experienced Transportation Tech/Appointment Scheduler . This position is responsible for scheduling resident appointments, providing transportation services to residents, and maintaining the necessary functions of the transportation in accordance with all applicable rules and laws. Care Management - Answer resident/client transportation requests. - Ensures quality care is provided to resident/clients by assisting resident/clients with baggage and regulating comfortable vehicle environment for resident/clients comfort. - Ensures maintenance of vehicles including, but not limited to inspecting oil, water and tires to maintain safety for resident/clients. - Provides safe transportation by following traffic and vehicle regulations to resident/clients as requested Quality & Compliance, Administration & Reporting - Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining an ongoing safety program. - Complies with department policies and procedures. - Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports. - Maintains the confidentiality/rights of all resident/clients and their care information. Client Relations - Communicates and works with resident/client’s family and/or responsible party to develop positive relationship and ensure necessary information sharing - Listens and responds to customers concerns, complaints, suggestions, questions and comments. - Analyzes and reports results of resident/client satisfaction survey and responds to customer concerns. Develops, communicates, and follows through with necessary action Employee Performance & Development - Fosters a positive work environment that attracts, retains and motivates top quality people throughout the organization. - Uses appropriate strategies, processes, tools and sources to engage and motivate employees to achieve business objectives and positive morale. - Displays ability to bring others together for a common purpose and objective in positive manner to achieve desired results. #wpcc

Scheduling resident appointments
Providing transportation services to residents
