About The Position

RNDC is looking for a dynamic, strategic, and professional Transportation Supervisor to join our growing Operations team. The Transportation Supervisor Directs and coordinates operational activities of delivery equipment and personnel by performing the following duties. In this role, you will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. You may have responsibility to recommend performance management actions including but not limited to selection and hiring, transferring and discharging, the assignment of work, the receipt of rewards or progressive discipline. You will supervise all aspects of the product delivery operation and customer relations. You will oversee the routing of delivery trucks using the computerized Roadnet routing system and assign all drivers and driver helpers to each route each day. You will update, review and set delivery routes throughout the day using the GreenMile driver tracking software. You will monitor driving performance per driver using the Geotab telematics software. You will ride with drivers to observe work habits and identify areas of needed improvement conducting training when necessary. You will train drivers in the areas of safe driving, proper lifting techniques and company delivery process and procedure and interact with internal departments and customers to resolve delivery problems as they occur throughout the day. You will enforce all company safety and security policies and programs and on occasion may be called upon to run a delivery route as business dictates.

Requirements

• Associates degree from a two year college or technical school preferred.
• Three or more years related experience, of which two to three years previous transportation and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a current state driver's license.
• CDL License.
• Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state (i.e. TABC License – Texas).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
• WSET certifications.

Responsibilities
