About The Position
The Transportation Supervisor at Sky River Casino is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the management of parking and transportation operations on the property. This position is dedicated to ensuring the highest levels of safety for employees, guests, and visitors while upholding established standards at all times. The supervisor will manage departmental performance, ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and thoroughness of departmental policies, procedures, records, and reports. This role also involves assisting with hiring, performance management, and fostering employee engagement within the department. In this capacity, the Transportation Supervisor will provide training opportunities and constructive feedback to team members, creating a motivating environment that encourages professional growth. Keeping abreast of new developments within the department, the supervisor will make recommendations aimed at maximizing departmental and company success. Effective management of internal and external guest relations is crucial, requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy to address any issues that arise. The supervisor will be responsible for managing multiple priorities simultaneously, often in high-pressure situations, while promoting positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, guests, and visitors. Training new team members on departmental policies and procedures is a key responsibility, as is monitoring their performance. The role also includes assisting with parking operations, managing shuttle services, coordinating ride share and taxi programs, and reviewing traffic-related communications. The Transportation Supervisor will support the transportation strategy for large-scale events and ensure the accuracy of airport-related transfers, all while prioritizing safety and compliance with company standards. Additionally, the supervisor will maintain relevant industry knowledge through continuing education and training, and perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the transportation operations.
