About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor performs supervisory and a variety of direct
patient care activities.  The position oversees Transportation functions related
to patients who are transferred to and from the facility via the facility van. 
The Transportation Supervisor reports department and patient issues to the
Director of Plant Operations, as needed, attends leadership functions within the
hospital and ensures overall quality.  The position is responsible for holding
staff accountable for performance, motivating staff to improve performance and
is accountable for the day to day operations of the department, along with
measurement, assessment and continuous improvement of the department's
performance.  The Transportation Supervisor provides direct patient care to
pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
