About The Position

Oversees the Transportation Drivers and assists the Guest Service Coordinator with managing operational processes, procedures and issues. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that routes run on time and adequate transportation services are provided for guests and employees. Requirements

  • Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of transportation operating requirements.
  • Must be able to present a MVD license record report with good standings.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle equipped with standard transmission.
  • Exhibits a strong commitment to the company and the owners.
  • Must furnish proof of valid personal insurance.
  • Ability to provide exceptional guest services.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Three (3) years’ work experience within a transportation and/or hospitality industry.
  • One (1) year supervisory experience
  • Ability to drive Manual and Automatic Transmission vehicles.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted New Mexico Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists Guest Services Coordinator with training, scheduling and other employee issues.
  • Interviews and hires Transportation Drivers.
  • Develops and monitors guest services standards drivers are providing guests.
  • Monitors and updates the driving records and certifications of the shuttle drivers.
  • Assists in mapping, planning routes and coordinates with area hotels and conference centers for pickup and returns of guests to/from the property.
  • Assists with shuttle driver to maintain vehicles for services and cleanliness of all department vehicles.
  • Contributes to the historical database for vehicle usage and maintenance of all department vehicles.
  • Assists in maintaining a credit card log for fuel usage of department vehicles.
  • Maintains accountability and usage of vehicle keys.
  • Ensures that drivers are following the set department standard operational procedures.
  • Reports any accidents/incidents and/or damage to vehicles utilizing the transportation service.
  • Greets and assists guests.
  • Enters maintenance records of fleet vehicles into the Fleet Management System.
  • Creates an environment of teamwork and provides a positive work culture and a collaborative team.
  • Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned scheduled each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Serves as the initial point of contact for guest inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner.
  • Reflects a sense of trust, comfort and understanding by demonstrating empathy for guests when problems occur.
  • Resolves all issues in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered.
