We are currently hiring a Transportation Supervisor to oversee 7 Delivery Professionals out of our Nashville, TN Cross Dock. The position will work in unison with our transportation manager at our distribution center in Buford, GA (Atlanta DC). Candidates must be flexible with their hours and be on call for any overnight line haul issues.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years of subject matter experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities
  • 2+ years transportation experience
  • Excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills (verbal/written), and management skills
  • Ability to train and take part in driver ride-alongs required
  • Problem solving experience required

  • LTL distribution or carrier experience preferred
  • Knowledge of area and ability to build routes preferred
  • Experience with E1 preferred
