In this role, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day transportation operations and the driver workforce, ensuring high levels of service delivery, safety, and security compliance. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for executing daily route structures, managing fleet maintenance, and driving metric-driven performance across the local operation. Requirements

  • Current employee at Iron Mountain with at least 3 years of experience in operations or transportation
  • Proven ability in direct leadership and frontline management, overseeing transportation, courier, or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of local-area geography, customer bases, and transportation administration processes to make quick, efficient operational decisions.
  • Experience with transportation discipline management, including safety compliance, route development, personnel scheduling, and fleet maintenance administration.
  • Successfully meet the background check, drug screen, and DOT physical requirements.
  • Mandatory experience with, or ability to quickly learn, routing technology and scanning platforms and managing relevant reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the driver and coordinator workforce to achieve high standards for service, production, and quality metrics.
  • Develop and manage daily operational reports and reporting mechanisms to provide critical data points on business trends and overall operational performance for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal safety/security procedures, local labor laws, and regulatory requirements to maintain operational excellence and risk mitigation.
