About The Position

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to work at Pathways Southwest Iowa located at 1702 North 16th Street, Council Bluffs, IA 51501. The overall purpose of this job is to be responsible for the Immanuel Pathways transportation program, including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary. This role involves hiring and training staff in the transportation department, and overseeing the procurement of vehicles, as well as their repairs and preventative maintenance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the transportation industry required.
  • Two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting is required.
  • One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License in the respective state in which he/she is employed and a current CDL license or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from date of hire.
  • Must have an acceptable record from the respective state’s Motor Vehicle Department in which the individual’s license was issued.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Immanuel Pathways transportation program, including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary.
  • Hires, and trains staff in the transportation department.
  • Oversees procurement of vehicle and repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles.
