About The Position

Supervises, plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of all transportation personnel ensuring that donation pickups are conducted in a timely and efficient manner as well as in accordance with established policies and procedures; monitors the effectiveness of the pickup system and initiates appropriate corrective action in a timely manner in order to maintain productivity standards; ensures the accountability of all donated merchandise; ensures that all fleet vehicles are properly maintained; ensures that safety standards are observed by all assigned personnel; ensures that customers are treated in a courteous and tactful manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Four years of experience driving a heavy­ duty truck or large van
• One year of supervisory experience
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of Transportation Supervisor
• Valid State Driver's License

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Preferred but not required
