About The Position

Pyramid Healthcare is a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services, committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to individuals in recovery. We are seeking a dedicated Transportation Supervisor to join our team in Concord, NC, overseeing our transportation operations across multiple locations. The Transportation Supervisor will manage and oversee all transportation staff, including drivers in Concord, Freedom, and remote locations across North Carolina. This role ensures safe, efficient, and effective transportation services for clients while supporting the operational needs of the Transportation Department.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
  • Familiarity with basic auto repairs.
  • Knowledge of CARF standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to plan routes efficiently and manage transportation logistics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Team player with strong communication skills, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
  • Demonstrates leadership, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; effective interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and collaboratively, showing initiative.
  • Calm, decisive, and flexible in crisis situations.
  • Maintains consistency, fairness, and ethical decision-making in interactions with clients, staff, and the public.
  • Supports a team environment, continuous improvement, and organizational goals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as necessary.
  • Ability to travel weekly between Concord and Freedom, NC locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in transportation supervision or related field preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, orient, train, and schedule transportation staff, ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Supervise drivers, modeling safe driving practices and adherence to Pyramid Healthcare standards.
  • Respond to transportation inquiries and emergency situations as needed.
  • Maintain and complete all required departmental reports and documentation.
  • Determine efficient routes and ensure driver availability to meet program needs.
  • Attend meetings and participate in training and development activities.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
