About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service, through the consistent practice and delivery of great service to all guests and team members. Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction. Responsible for supporting compliance to departmental budgets. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Accept responsibility for guests' vehicle and keys; and safely park and retrieve guests' vehicle. Greet guests and provide guest service, with knowledge of casino functions, events and surroundings. Communicate by radio with Valet team members. Basic proficiency with computers. Ensure operations are in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assist the Manager with administrative responsibilities. Perform the Manager function in his/her absence. Address all guest situations unless guest specifies otherwise. Responsible for shift scheduling, daily paperwork and daily shift rotations. Conduct new team member training. Monitors and assists activities in all transportation related areas including but not limited to shuttle, VIP, and private groups to ensure customer satisfaction and operational needs are met in a timely and correct manner. Ensures all aspects of the auto detailing process are taken care of in a timely manner with an emphasis on quality and consistency as well as proper training and inventory needs are met. This position is very physical in nature and may require incumbent to run across flat land, as well as up and down stairs to park and retrieve cars when needed or covering an attendant. Incumbent must be able to reach and grasp to retrieve keys for customers' vehicles. Ability to drive cars of all types Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). Previous supervisory experience with increasing level of responsibilities. Minimum of two (2) years Valet Attendant experience. Valid California Driver License and no traffic citations in past three (3) years with no more than two (2) minor traffic violations in the past three (3) years. Preferred ability to safely operate passenger vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions. Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
  • Previous supervisory experience with increasing level of responsibilities.
  • Minimum of two (2) years Valet Attendant experience.
  • Valid California Driver License and no traffic citations in past three (3) years with no more than two (2) minor traffic violations in the past three (3) years.
  • Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Must obtain a First Aid/AED certification.
  • Must successfully complete TIPS training.
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and have acceptable driving history per requirements.
  • Team member may be required to be on their feet up to 8 hours, and are required to jog to and from guest vehicles
  • Ability to drive cars of all types
