The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm, with overtime and slight changes in schedule due to operational needs. Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of distribution, logistics, transportation, or related work experience
  • Ability to create, manage, and calculate routes
  • Experience with DQ file compliance
  • Knowledge of the LOCAL AREA

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Excel and Word and experience with RoadNet is a plus
  • Safe Drive experience is a plus
  • CDL A is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Creates and manages Driver Qualification (DQ) files
  • Manages Department of Transportation (DOT) audits
  • Establish delivery routes that are cost-effective and compliant with Federal DOT guidelines
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards, quality, and satisfaction.
  • Utilize Roadnet application to ensure delivery costs are held to company-expected run rates
  • Optimize routing schedules while strongly emphasizing driver safety.
  • Cultivate excellent relationships with the drivers and customers
  • Monitor sudden route changes or road construction to establish new routes to maintain timely deliveries
