About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor oversees the dispatching of all transportation staff, including bellmen, valets, and drivers, to ensure a seamless guest experience. This hands-on leader organizes drivers, manages reservations, and makes critical staffing decisions for every shift. You must be a proactive professional willing to perform all tasks within the department to support the team. Horseshoe Bay Resort is nestled on 17,000 acres in the breathtaking Central Texas Hill Country. Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report to meet insurance requirements.
  • Previous hospitality or customer service experience is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a pleasant, professional personality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, web browsers, and general computer operations.
  • Must be well-groomed, adhere to uniform standards (including slip-resistant white footwear), and work a flexible schedule of nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Logistics Coordination: Assign and track drivers and valet staff to operate effectively for guests and clients.
  • Arrival Experience: Oversee the hotel check-in process and manage traffic flow at the hotel entrance and parking lots.
  • Administrative Oversight: Supervise billing procedures and associate use of the SMS system.
  • Professional Standards: Maintain a clean front entrance and valet office while keeping a professional composure in high-stress situations.
  • Operational Awareness: Stay informed of resort amenity schedules and promotions to assist guests.
  • Team Support: Provide backup for any driving assignments or valet needs as required.
