About The Position

The position involves building relationships with key transportation and driver-provider companies, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and planning and executing transportation equipment maintenance. You will maintain accurate and timely records, which may include maintaining and updating driver information and driver logs. The role requires working cohesively with all internal Subject Matter Experts, including sales, transportation management center, operations, supply chain excellence, marketing, pricing, finance, and IT. You will act as a mediator between sales, drivers, and customers to resolve delivery problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing vehicle pre- and post-trip inspection reports and ensuring proper storage of said reports for audit purposes. Daily communication with Transportation Supervisors and Warehouse Managers is required, along with tracking orders using functional systems and monitoring transportation costs.
