About The Position

The Supervisor supports daily operations by providing direct oversight of frontline employees, ensuring work processes are followed, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive environment. This role bridges strategic direction set by the Manager with day‑to-day execution on the floor, helping ensure operational goals, service standards, and safety expectations are consistently met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or supervisory training preferred.
  • Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to solve routine operational issues and make sound decisions in real time.
  • Working knowledge of department-specific equipment, software, or processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily work activities of assigned staff to ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust employee assignments to meet operational demands.
  • Provide real-time problem solving and escalate issues to the Manager when higher level intervention is required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices.
  • Will fill in as driver when needed for coverage or support.
  • Lead, motivate, and support employees through clear communication, consistent follow up, and daily direction.
  • Train new employees on equipment, processes, and safety expectations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and corrective action as needed, documenting performance concerns and sharing insights with the Manager.
  • Assist in evaluating employee performance and identifying development opportunities.
  • Act as the first-line safety leader, ensuring employees follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-shift safety checks, equipment checks, and worksite inspections.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly to the Manager and participate in investigations as requested.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure work meets required specifications.
  • Track productivity metrics and communicate variances or improvement needs to the Manager.
  • Implement process improvements directed by the Manager and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Serve as the primary on shift point of contact for employees and related departments.
  • Relay Manager-level directives to staff with clarity and consistency.
  • Provide timely feedback to the Manager regarding team performance, operational issues, and resource needs.
