About The Position

The Transportation Specialist role at Amazon's Network Operation Center (NOC) focuses on managing transportation-related programs within the Central Operations team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience with SQL.

• Experience in an IT/Operations/Call/Command Center work environment.
• Ability to pull data from numerous databases and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team.
• Proven ability to define effective, efficient, and scalable processes and drive continuous improvement through root cause identification and defect elimination.

Responsibilities

• Understand execution and daily production goals.
• Review and update SOPs as required.
• Assist with execution duties, training associates, and verifying SOP compliance.
• Handle incoming work requests within standard service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide direction utilizing independent judgment.
• Conduct regular audits with associates for engagement and standard work adherence.
• Assist in shift execution with shift managers.
• Work a flexible schedule as business demands, including overnight, weekends, and holidays.
