About The Position

Donan's Component Testing Lab (CTL) located in Las Vegas, NV is currently looking for an Transportation Specialist. The CTL Transportation Specialist works diligently with Alpine Intel CTL partners to plan and control the safe shipment of customer item(s) (evidence). The Transportation Specialist interacts with specialized vendors to ensure that effective and appropriate measures are taken regarding item(s) preservation. All packaging requirements are communicated to the vendors by the Transportation Specialist and are continuously audited to document effectiveness and accuracy. The Transportation Specialist will also be responsible for the securing of competitive freight quotes for every move of freight, inbound and outbound. The Transportation Specialist will also have to use analytical tools to be able to determine the proper course of action when planning 'specific and specialized' freight moves. These special moves would fall into predetermined guidelines and be handled accordingly. The Transportation Specialist is primarily responsible for all freight related responsibilities and functions associated with the CTL operation.
