About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of a Transportation Specialist in Winston Salem and Salisbury, NC . The Transportation Specialist will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Transportation Specialist will act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers and security officers. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering designated areas.
  • Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols during incidents or drills within the healthcare location.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by site procedures.
