About The Position

As a Transportation Specialist at General Dynamics Mission Systems, you will perform the administrative tasks involved in the shipping of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. You will monitor and coordinate shipping activities, maintain daily status, and ensure adherence to scheduling requirements. Additionally, you will coordinate and consolidate domestic systems to support shipments of products and develop transportation plans that meet cost and schedule goals, as well as handle damage and loss claims against carriers. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Clear knowledge of laws and government regulations regarding the shipment of products in a government contracting environment.
