Requirements

3+ years operation or logistics related relevant experience
Strong understanding of freight & logistics systems
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, High school GED required
Ability to effectively work under the pressure of deadlines in a multi-task, production environment
Detail oriented, with the ability to thoroughly research, analyze and develop solutions to complex processing and workflow issues
Ability to quickly grasp situational issues and derive solution to problem
Proficient with Microsoft Excel with v-lookups and pivot tables
Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills including effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with various levels of the organization
Bilingual (English/Korean)

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate transportation operation by tracking freight from origin to destination
Communicate closely with customers to ensure smooth operation without issues and service satisfaction
Proactively identify and assess a solution to cost incurrence such as demurrage, detention and work for smooth resolution to protect company and customers
Monitor carrier performance continually and evaluate, with feedback provided on a routine basis
Communicate with carriers & associated vendors on a frequent and consistent basis
Process container returns, bobtail decisions related to overall logistics operation for proper handling of business
Other responsibilities as required by the Site Manager
