  • Manage and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs for transportation operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local rules.
  • Deliver training for drivers and staff on vehicle operations, safety techniques, load securement, and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents to find root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Conduct regular audits of vehicles, equipment, facilities, and processes to identify hazards and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Monitor safety metrics, manage accident reporting, and provide reports to leadership on safety performance.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies and insurance carriers.
  • Oversee driver qualifications, licensing, and ongoing training.

  • Minimum 5 years of Transportation Safety experience.
