About The Position

The Route Manager Assistant (RMA) assists and reports to the Transportation Manager. The RMA assists in the management of everything that has to do with routing and collection. This position is responsible for updating and handling the Planet Aid database, updating and assigning changes in the routes, and providing critical data Management. The RMA is a seasoned and proven responsible driver who does all jobs assigned by the Manager to help make the collection run smoothly and maximize the pounds.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent years of experience in place of diploma.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
• 2 years experience driving small truck.

Nice To Haves

• Proficient in computer skills and applications such as Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with database record keeping to record and track information.
• Experience with online applications such as mapping and routing tools such as Route Savvy.
• Detail-oriented.
• Self-driven, result-oriented, and motivated to work without constant supervision.
• Ability to prioritize workflow.
• Flexibility in adapting to changing requirements and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Run collection routes and pick up overflows as needed.
• Audit drivers and Routes.
• Verifying that routes are being run as planned.
• Fix bin issues in the field.
• Reroute and optimize collection routes and territories.
• Ensure that the collection Database is updated accordingly.
• Assign daily routes to Drivers.
• Assist with truck and vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Run reports and provide critical data to Management as needed.

Benefits

• Weekly pay of $26-$27/hr.
