This is a paid internship with full or part-time hours during the Summer of 2026. This is an office position; limited teleworking (if any) is anticipated. Internships available in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Requirements

  • An interest in transportation engineering planning, design, and construction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of civil design
  • Education: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree engineering program
  • Previous experience in Microsoft products such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support our roadway design, airport design and structural engineering groups
  • Support our roadway construction engineering groups in the field
  • Conduct basic calculations and assist in developing engineer's estimates
  • Assist team in preparing CAD drawings and reports
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
