About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for our growing Infrastructure team in Atlanta. This position is embedded at the client office of the Cobb County Department of Transportation with the option to work remotely part time. Collaborating with other experienced transportation professionals, you will deliver transportation projects of various sizes and funding sources. This is a great opportunity to develop public sector project management skills.

Requirements

7+ years of progressive highway (GDOT or Georgia local municipality) design or project management experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams

Nice To Haves

10+ years of progressive highway (GDOT or Georgia local municipality) design experience, including 3+ years of PM experience on GDOT projects
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Georgia PE license or ability to obtain
PMP
Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects
Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality
Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development
Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project
Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, and development of project plans and schedules
Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other Arcadis offices as needed.
Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.
