About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Practice Leader in our Miami, FL office. As a Transportation Practice Leader, enjoy responsibilities that may include project oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, project financial management as well as hands-on involvement in the design process. The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team. Project engineering and management. Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary. Business development activities including proposal preparation, project interviews/presentations, and client management. Professional society involvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
• Knowledge of FDOT design and standards.
• PE license in FL.
• Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
• Project Management experience with the Florida Department of Transportation a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Staff management and proven leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation, Open Roads Design (ORD), AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
