About The Position
AtkinsRéal is seeking a Transportation Planner to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role as the FDOT Planning Liaison, you will serve as a critical bridge between the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and its two Gainesville Transportation Planning Organizations (TPOs). This position is responsible for facilitating effective communication, collaboration, and coordination on transportation planning, project development, and policy implementation. The liaison will ensure alignment of state and regional transportation priorities while supporting compliance with federal and state regulations. A key aspect of this role involves actively coordinating with TPO staff, representing FDOT at TPO Board and Committee meetings, and serving as the primary point of contact for resolving issues and advancing shared goals. This position is based at the FDOT Jacksonville Urban Office.
