About The Position

The Agency of Transportation is seeking a Transportation Operations Technician I. This position is responsible for various tasks related to highway maintenance, such as repairing guardrails, cutting trees/brush, patching roads, picking litter, ditching, and more. In the winter months, this position will also assist with plowing and salting, and overtime may be required. AOT Southwest Bridge Crew is looking for a motivated, career minded individual to join our team. The Southwest Bridge Crew maintains state road infrastructure for the western half of Vermont, from the southern Vermont border to Middlebury, Vermont.
