As a Transportation Operations Supervisor, you'll oversee a dedicated team of drivers, ensuring safe, efficient transportation for guests and staff throughout the resort. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • CDL with passenger endorsement
  • 3 years driving experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Computer knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Operate resort-provided shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and coach shuttle drivers.
  • Schedule, supervise, and evaluate department staff; provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Oversee the repair, maintenance, and cleanliness of all shuttle vehicles and departmental resources.
  • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections, log defects, and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Ensure all buses are clean and equipped with required safety gear.
  • Provide guests with accurate resort information and maintain up-to-date informational materials on the shuttles.
  • Participate in the resort's random drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Use shuttle radios in accordance with resort guidelines and maintain proper radio etiquette.
  • Follow established shuttle routes and adjust as needed due to weather, guest needs, or resort operations.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to shuttle staff as required.
  • Maintain accurate and current employee records, including Driver's Licenses and Medical Cards.
  • Communicate daily with the Transportation Manager regarding schedule changes, guest requests, weather impacts, or operational issues.
  • Adapt shuttle service operations in response to resort conditions and reroute vehicles as needed.
  • Lead daily driver meetings to share updates, resort information, and reinforce safety protocols.
  • Remain flexible as duties may evolve with the needs of the resort.
