About The Position
The Transportation Manager leads Supervisors, Drivers, Common Carriers, and overall Transportation Operations ensuring that finished goods are delivered to the company's Distribution Centers. This role ensures adherence to delivery standards and regulatory requirements while managing drivers' delivery schedules and hours worked. The Transportation Manager develops and manages the transportation budget by reviewing and approving transportation invoices. You will also work directly with manufacturing plants and distribution centers to manage carrier relationships and conduct carrier meetings. Other duties as assigned.
