Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven leadership in the hospitality and/or parking industries
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the transportation, bus, and/or passenger mobility services industry is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, or the equivalent in work experience
  • Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement (currently have or can get within first 60-days)
  • Must be able to work in the Greater New Jersey area - Flexible with specific base location
  • Outstanding operational and financial acumen, with the ability to share and coach leaders in these areas
  • Impeccable conversational and written communication skills to develop lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and staff
  • Ability to see a challenge as an opportunity and lead a team to new heights
  • Proven ability to plan and organize workloads by establishing priorities and respecting deadlines
  • Sound judgement; good follow through and keen ability to prioritize
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with client focus and an ability to work with all staff levels
  • Extensive travel throughout the region is required
  • Proficiency with computers, revenue control equipment, payroll systems, and the Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of DOT Federal Regulations and registration processes
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations applicable to transportation
  • Ensure compliance on a day-to-day basis with State, Federal and Company requirements
  • Ensure a safe environment exists and that all maintenance and related activities are in conformance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and submit monthly maintenance report for all vehicles
  • Schedule & supervise vehicle maintenance to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards
  • Manage maintenance staff and work performed by outside vendors
  • Conduct driver evaluations, on the road shuttle training and classroom orientation/training
