About The Position
This is an Operations position responsible for managing the activities associated with Delivery. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day activities and safety of delivery associates, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, and managing labor hours, travel, fuel, and supplies within budget constraints. The position also requires preparing weekly work schedules, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, and managing the proper utilization of company assets. Additionally, the role includes monitoring the effectiveness of daily routing activities, communicating with customers to resolve delivery issues, and performing management functions related to staff selection and development.
