About The Position

The Transportation Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the customer service division at Brady Linen Services, LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring order accuracy and coordinating the timely delivery of products to customers. The manager will oversee delivery drivers and order fillers, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Forklift and pallet jack certified
• Flexible schedule including days/nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of order management system (Linen Master)
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist Management in day-to-day operations regarding order management
• Coordinate delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage Order Fillers and Drivers, issuing disciplines if needed
• Inform mechanics of issues reported by drivers with trucks to coordinate repairs
• Provide excellent customer service to customers
• Receive deliveries and ensure necessary parties have packages
• Answer phone and respond to callers in a timely manner
• Assist with order changes and ensure correct delivery of product
• Assist with scheduling, pulling, loading, and unloading of product
• Organize, plan, and prioritize work
• Retrieve/reply to all emails as needed
• Use critical thinking skills to enhance deliveries of product to customers
• Assess the schedules of drivers to optimize routes and meet customer and plant needs
• Quickly solve problems using knowledge, skills, and abilities
• Be detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines
• Coordinate with plant management to resolve customer issues and needs
• Perform all other duties assigned to meet company goals
