About The Position

Uber Freight is looking for experienced Customer Service professionals with a background in Transportation, Supply Chain, or Logistics to join our Transportation Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing transportation operations to ensure the accurate, timely, and cost-effective delivery of goods—while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This position follows a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week, based out of our Rogers, AR office. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in transportation/logistics
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• 2+ Experience in transportation/logistics
• Experience working with LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments
• Basic understanding of BI and Tableau reporting
• Advance proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Tools

Responsibilities

• Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to its fullest potential in order to facilitate the life cycle of an order, including load building, tendering, etc.
• Exceed customer on time pick-up and delivery expectations
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with carriers to meet customer expectations
• Effective and timely freight coverage and carrier selection through systemic routing guide and spot shipments including rate negotiation
• Leverage TMS to effectively route and consolidate orders considering best cost and transit options for all transportation modes
• Monitoring and resolving shipment data errors
• Proactive analysis to prevent service failures
• Proactively develop and recommend service improvement programs in support of the transportation strategy
• Professional and timely communications and inquiry responses with shippers and receivers
• Identify patterns with shipper, receiver, and carrier performance, and recommend actions for improvement
• Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies in TMS financials
• Train new customer and vendor users on the TMS, demonstrating knowledge of customer business practices and workflow
• Document and execute customer’s standard operating procedures
• Leverage knowledge and understanding of equipment, markets, and shipment requirements
• Act as intermediary in problem resolution between accounts and carriers
