About The Position
The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (DOT), is now accepting applications for two Transportation Maintainer 2 (DOT Highway Electrical Technician) positions in the Colchester Electrical Facility. These roles have an advancement opportunity for the target class of Qualified Craft Worker (Electrical). The purpose of this position is to perform electrical repairs, installation and maintenance of the Department's traffic lights and highway illumination within District 2. Upon successful completion of a 2 year training period, the incumbent in this role will be evaluated and may be promoted to the target class of Qualified Craft Worker (Electrical).
