About The Position

The Transportation Lead is responsible for providing excellent guest service, positively effects interactions with guests and team members. Has the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers and leads by example.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful guest service, through the consistent practice and delivery of great service to all guests and team members. • Provides lead supervision and training to Valet Attendants. • Ensures courteous and prompt attention to guest requests or complaints. • Greets arriving and departing guests. • Must have a valid California State driver’s license • Parks guest vehicles in specified areas in an efficient and safe manner. • Retrieves guest vehicles from specified areas in an efficient and safe manner. • Performs drive-and-park assignments per department policies and procedures. • Ensures prompt reporting of any incidents to Transportation Supervisor. • This position is subject to varying levels of crowds, smoke and noise, the severity of which depends upon guest volume. • Monitors and assists activities in all transportation related areas including but not limited to shuttle, VIP, and private groups to ensure customer satisfaction and operational needs are met in a timely and correct manner. • Ensures all aspects of the auto detailing process are taken care of in a timely manner with an emphasis on quality and consistency as well as proper training and inventory needs are met. • Performs all Transportation Supervisor duties in their absence • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior guest service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. • Ensure operations are in accordance with established policies and procedures. • Responsible for providing guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department. Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. • This position is required to work outside and is subject to all types of weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided. • Basic proficiency with computers. • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, as well as all levels of team members. • This position is very physical in nature and requires incumbent to run across flat land, as well as up and down stairs to park and retrieve cars in as little amount of time as possible. Incumbent must be able to reach and grasp to retrieve keys for guests' vehicles. • Ability to drive cars of all types. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License.
• Valid California vehicle operator's license and no traffic citations in past three (3) years with no more than two (2) minor traffic violations in the past three (3) years.
• Obtain and maintain a gaming license with gaming commission.
• Team member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
• Must obtain a First Aid/AED certification.
• Must successfully complete TIPS training.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
• Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Preferred Minimum of one (1) year Valet Attendant experience and increasing level of responsibilities.
• Preferred ability to safely operate passenger vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
