This role is all about conducting precision field surveys and preparing accurate survey documents for highway, bridge, ferry terminal, and transportation infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you'll ensure accurate and timely data collection for transportation systems that keep Maine moving. We leverage cutting-edge technology including aerial photogrammetry, LiDAR, HDS terrestrial laser scanning, and GPS alongside traditional traverse methods to deliver accurate, safe project completion on busy roads and highways. Your work will span right-of-way boundaries, bridge surveys, locally administered projects (LAP), construction layouts, and topographic mapping—offering diverse challenges that keep every day interesting. This full-time role involves professional surveying work with opportunities for growth up to and including Professional Licensure.
